Ask us a questionWhat is the difference between inc.club and inc.city?
inc.club is for membership, account management and connected services. inc.city provides public-facing websites and business profiles. Eligible organization labels are designed to be paired.
Can anyone claim a root-level name?
No. Root-level business names are reserved for legally incorporated and verified eligible organizations. Entrepreneurs have a dedicated namespace, and verified nonprofits/charities have their own eligibility review. All names remain subject to reservations and rights checks.
Does a registry lookup mean a name is available?
No. The checker consults inc.club registry classifications. Unlisted names may still be restricted, already in use elsewhere or ineligible. No registration, reservation or authorization occurs through the checker.
Is membership available internationally?
The planned founding priority window is for eligible Canadian incorporated organizations through January 22, 2027. Broader international applications are planned after that date, subject to rollout and local requirements.
Do I receive a free personal inc.city domain?
No. The founding personal-name offer requires the $100 Pro Lifetime subscription and includes exactly one selected i, me, p or personal inc.city namespace. Additional personal names in the promotion cost $20 each, and all four cost $160 total. Currency and launch terms require publication.
Can I use my own domain or email provider?
Custom-domain support and integration with compatible external mail providers are planned. Members may also choose free forwarding where eligible or paid hosted email as it becomes available. Sending mail as a custom address depends on the chosen provider and setup.
How do name transfers work?
Transfers are planned as internal, audited ownership changes requiring eligibility checks, approvals and short-lived authorization credentials that rotate approximately every 24–48 hours. Details will be finalized before launch; the demo cannot perform transfers.
How will email privacy and security work?
Privacy controls, randomized forwarding aliases, and optional eCert-based signing are planned. Encryption to recipients requires a compatible, trusted recipient key; it cannot be guaranteed for every external address. Production controls and documentation will be published before those services launch.
Do payments or contact forms work?
With D1 and Turnstile configured, enquiries and contact emails are saved in the protected operations database. Cloudflare Access authenticated member accounts can send service requests when enrolled by an administrator. Self-registration, payments, DNS provisioning and hosted mail are not active yet.
